A GOOD WATER PROJECT at the Bweyogerere Multi-Purpose School
Grace Clean Energy & Water Limited and Grace Impact gGmbH sponsored A GOOD WATER PROJECT at the Bweyogerere Multi-Purpose School in July 2023.
Bweyogerere Multi-Purpose Primary School, located in Bweyogerere Wakiso, began operating in 1999. The school presently has 150 pupils from nursery to primary school classes and 12 teachers.
Upon receiving the news about the donation, Ms. Tendo Norah Lutaaya, Bweyoferere ‘school’s Administrator, was very happy and stated, “Thank you so much for the love and care. The water purifier is going to help us so much and cut costs since we have spent so much buying firewood to boil water. We are forever grateful.”

Grace Clean Energy & Water Limited selected a VIQUA VT1-DWS, a medium-capacity point-of-use drinking water system, for Bweyogerere Multi-Purpose Primary school. This water purification system purifies 240 litres of water an hour using Viqua’s proven ultraviolet (UV) disinfection technology. The chemical-free process removes 99.99% of bacteria, viruses, and protozoa, thus meeting the World Health Organization’s and the Uganda National Bureau of Standards’ (UNBS) requirements for potable water.
When Dinese, the CEO and owner of GCEWL, visited the school to see the installation, she suggested an additional donation from both Grace Impact gGmbH and GCEWL, a Grace 375 Back Up Power Set, to ensure that the school has direct access to clean and safe water direct even when the grid power is off.
“We are so happy to hear Norah’s words of appreciation and have decided to help this small important school with a Good Energy Project. The installation of this new back up power set will take place in September 2023. Unlike our competition, GCEWL gives back to the community with its two corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, Good Water and Good Energy Projects.
