Sankara Junior School Charity Organization (Kiwempe, Uganda) Receives a Grace 2000 Watt Solar Power Set Sponsored by Grace Impact gGmbH (Munich, Germany)
The Sankara Junior School was founded as a charity organization to support the children of single mothers, sex workers, and other underprivileged community members in the areas of Kiwempe, located in Kansanga a suburb in Kampala City. Established in 2002 by the current Director Mr. Derrick Sankara, the school’s objective is to provide the pupils with access to opportunities that empower them by offering educational and interpersonal skills that are a necessity for survival in the 21st century. The school currently supports over 300 children.
